Man flees from police, crashes into car

The Huron County OPP says officers responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle driving around a farm supply business in Londesborough just before 7:00 a.m.

They spotted the vehicle and when they tried to pull it over the driver took off on London Road through Blyth.

The suspect crashed into the back of a Honda CRV that had pulled over for the police between Moncrieff Road and St. Michael’s Road.

The suspect then took off on foot and after a short chase officers were able to arrest the man.

The woman driving the Honda was treated at a hospital for minor injuries and released.

The suspect was taken to hospital with minor injuries as well.

He’s in police custody with charges pending.
