HPPH alerts community of measles exposure in North Perth

Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is reporting another community measles exposure in North Perth.

It happened at IDA Listowel Pharmacy & Care Clinic on Wallace Avenue on Saturday (March 29) from 12:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Public Health said if you were present during this timeframe, born in 1970 or after, and are not up to date with measles vaccinations, to call them at 1-888-221-2133 ext. 3299.

This includes those who were present at the location only briefly as measles is highly contagious and can linger in the air for up to two hours.

HPPH completes case management and contact tracing for confirmed cases of measles.
