It’s a new, green partnership.
St. Marys Cemetery Decoration Day on May 10 will provide an opportunity to clear graves of winter debris, plant flowers, decorate, and get together with community members.Â
Andrew Hodges, owner of Hodges Funeral Home, a partner for the new event, said having one decoration day is a nice way to bring everyone together while beautifying the cemetery.
It will start with an official welcome and non-denominational blessing from St. Marys Ministerial Association.Â
Additional waste receptacles will be available, and water taps will be turned on for cleaning and planting.Â
