It’s an opportunity to learn about services that help people and pets stay together during times of need.
Paws on Pavement on April 26 is a day of ‘community connection and compassion’, and a fundraiser for the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth’s (HSKWSP) Better Together Capital Campaign.
Volunteers will collect donations, raise awareness, and speaking with residents about local services that help people and pets stay together.
At the Waterloo Public Square hub, you can stop by with your dogs, families, and friends for activities that include dog wellness assessments and a nail trim clinic.
Victoria Baby, CEO of the humane society, said Paws on Pavement supports the essential bond between people and their pets.
