GOJHL playoffs: End of the line for Stratford, St. Marys heads to Game 7

Chatham Maroons ended the Stratford Warriors playoff run on Sunday, with a Game 7 win in the GOJHL semifinal series.

The Maroons scored twice in the second period and then hung on for a 2-1 win to take the western division series 4-3 on home ice at Memorial Arena.

Ian LaChance and Sean Truby scored for the Maroons. Colin Slattery scored in the third period for the Warriors.

Also Sunday, London Nationals edged St. Marys Lincolns 3-2 at the Western Fair Sports Centre.

Eddie Hickson, Aiden McDonald and Ryan Nichols scored for the Nationals.

Kyle Morey and Noah Vandenbrink scored for the Lincolns.

Game 7 is Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. at the Pyramid Recreation Centre in St. Marys.
