It didn’t take long for 10,000 Easter eggs to get scooped up.
Hundreds of young and young-at-heart chocolate lovers descended on Upper Queen’s Park for the annual CJCS/2Day FM Rhéo Thompson Candies easter egg hunt on Saturday.
All of the eggs were provided by Rhéo Thompson Candies and the sponsor are promising even more for next year.
Stratford House of Blessing also received 178 pounds of food and just over $350.
“We’re so glad to be a part of this great event and appreciate the support,” said Aaron Balzer, the food bank’s resource coordinator.
