Driver charged for not providing a breath sample

Another driver has been charged for refusing to provide a breath sample.

A 30-year-old Kitchener man was pulled over by the OPP early Saturday morning.

The OPP had set up a R.I.D.E. program on Highway 7.

On January 11th at 1:18am a male driver of a 2004 Honda showed signs of alcohol consumption.

The officer made a demand to the driver to provide a breath sample into an approved roadside screening device and he refused.

The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
