Insp. Laura Lee Brown is the new detachment commander at the Ontario Provincial Police’s Huron detachment in Clinton.
Insp. Brown, who has worked in Perth County, Wellington County and at West Region headquarters, brings a wealth of experience, provincial police said.
The veteran police officer is looking forward to working with members of the Huron detachment to ensure continued smooth operations.
Insp. Brown said it’s her “privilege to support the incredibly hardworking members of the Huron OPP Detachment and to foster the positive relationships (shared) with community partners.”
Insp. Brown said the collaborative approach to crime prevention and community safety is what strengthens communities.
“And I am thankful to be part of it.”
