St. Marys welcomes back Perth Children’s Water Festival

It’s a fun-filled afternoon for the young and young-at-heart.

The Perth Children’s Water Festival returns to St. Marys on May 25.

Activities focus on water conservation, protection, and science, including live birds of prey shows by the Canadian Raptor Conservancy, a casting exhibit with Fishing Friendzy, and more than 20 other hands-on activity stations at Milt Dunnell Field, from 1-4 p.m.

Festival coordinator Vanni Azzano said it’s an opportunity for the whole family to learn about water and the local environment in a fun and exciting way.

Volunteers, including high school students, are encouraged to volunteer.
