Details have been released about this summer’s Stonetown Heritage Festival, July 11-13.
Morgan Easton, Town of St. Marys Tourism and Events Coordinator, said the heritage walking and bus tours, kids zone and art vendors, are returning, along with the popular Bex in Motion, a hula hoop and comedy artist and a magician stilt walker.
“What we like to see the most is people out there having fun with their family and friends,” Easton told MyStratfordNow.
There is also a farmer’s market at Milt Dunnell Field, inflatables and face painting.
Easton said organizers want to keep the event flowing for the full day on the Saturday, with live music starting at 5 p.m. and local businesses staying open later.
Easton said it’s usually a big turnout for the town.
“So, we usually have typically around 1,500 people but we always want to see those numbers increase.”
Wrapping up the Saturday are fireworks set off from the Grand Trunk trestle at dusk.
The full schedule is available at the Discover St. Marys website.
