ATKINS, David Brian “Beans”, with sadness we announce the passing of David on Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Stratford General Hospital. David leaves behind the love of his life Diane Ladouceur, his son Cory Atkins and wife Lindsay, and the apple of his eye, his Granddaughter Ashley Atkins. He is also survived by his wonderful step-daughters Nicole Ladouceur, Sharisse Ladouceur and partner Patrick Lennon and sons Marcus and Liam Lennon, brother Barry Atkins and wife Maggie, sister Sharon Hughes and husband Doug; in-laws, Elizabeth Dickson, Ralph and Arlene Curran, Wendy Dickson, many nieces and nephews, and longtime close friend Kevin Priestap. David was predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Marie Atkins. We would like to express a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses in the Emergency and Palliative Care unit at the Stratford General Hospital for their tremendous support during this difficult time. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 11:30 am with reception to follow.
