Arts Alive returns this summer to Gallery Stratford after a hiatus in 2024.
Week-long camps are offered in July and August for ages four to six and seven to nine.
Director/Curator Robert Windrum said the gallery is hiring five staff this summer through the Canada Summer Jobs program, so they are excited for the months ahead.
“We are also going to have 120 places for children over the course of the summer so it’s going to be a very lively place.”
Activities include painting, sculpture, and printmaking. Windrum said children will spend a lot of outdoor fresh air time as the property sits on the city’s park system.
“Each week will have a different theme. So there is lots of variety. And lots to keep the kids creative and occupied and having a great summer.”
