Kinsmen Club of Stratford are getting set for a big month.
Trevor Exner with the club said volunteers have a few events to run before they celebrate a big birthday.
“We really appreciate all of the support the community gives us.”
It starts with a drive-thru bottle drive on Saturday, May 24, at the Zehrs parking lot in Stratford, near the gas bar.
Funds from the bottle drive go towards supporting local dragon boaters.
The following day, on May 25, Upper Queen’s Park is the venue for the Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History. Local Kinsmen will run a BBQ at the walk.
Then on May 31, the club will celebrate their 80th anniversary at Stratford Perth Museum, featuring local musicians, including Yeager and Hwy 19.
Exner said the Kinsmen Club continues to grow and help the community and if anyone wants to join, they can attend an event and learn more about what they do.Â
