Two Stratford McDonald’s restaurants contributed to record-breaking fundraising across Canada on McHappy Day.
McDonald’s Canada says more than $11.3 million was raised for Ronald McDonald House Charities and other local children’s charities during the one-day event May 8.
The Ontario Street and Erie Street McDonald’s in the city combined to raise more than $23,700.
This year marked the 31st McHappy Day in Canada. The grand total raised to date is more than $111 million.
