$200K Trillium funding announced for Community Living North Perth

Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae has announced $200,000 in Trillium funding for Community Living North Perth.

Rae said the funding will help support human resources infrastructure, strengthening hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling systems.

As a result, the organization was able to increase its frontline staffing by more than 50 per cent and better support individuals with complex health and behavioural needs.

Jennifer Croft, Executive Director of Community Living North Perth, said the team has worked hard to ensure the right staff, training, and resources are in place to support people
with increasing complex needs.

A new residence currently supports two individuals and has capacity to welcome two more as the need for specialized housing continues to grow in the region.

Community Living North Perth now supports 55 people with developmental disabilities across North Perth, with demand increasing rapidly.
