18th annual HogJog supporting Stratford House of Blessing

The HogJog returns for an 18th year on June 18, starting at the Stratford Rotary Complex.

Race options include a 3.5K walk/run and a 10K race.

For kids ages six and under there is a 500-metre dash.

Co-chair Lauren Hansen said the name of the race makes a lot of sense.

“It runs in conjunction with the Ontario Pork Congress and it’s also primarily run by members of the swine industries.”

Funds raised this year will go towards Stratford House of Blessing.

Aaron Balzer with the food bank said funds will cover the cost of changing their red van into a refrigerated vehicle, allowing more freedom to move perishable items.

You can register for the race at hogjog.ca.
