Induction weekend at Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame

It’s the big weekend for the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in St. Marys.

Toronto Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista and two-time Canadian Women’s National team MVP Amanda Asay highlight the class of 2025 inductees.

Also joining the ball hall at the induction ceremony on Saturday is Baltimore Orioles pitcher Érik Bédard; Greg Hamilton, a leader with Baseball Canada for three decades; Arlene Noga, nicknamed the ‘Iron Lady’ after playing more than 300 consecutive games in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, and Gerry Snyder, who helped bring Major League baseball to Montreal.

Asay, Noga and Snyder will be enshrined posthumously.

The ceremony starts at 1 p.m.
