Enjoy some live music tonight at Stratford Perth Museum

It’s a chance to hear some new music from a popular local band.

Stratford Perth Museum is the venue for a live show featuring Upside of Maybe, along with Thundering Velvet Band, and Generation X.

Michael Bannerman, of Upside of Maybe, said the outdoor venue is a cool spot for music fans to unwind and listen to a Friday night’s show.

“It’s a gorgeous little theatre, you bring a blanket and some lawn chairs and the sun sets just perfect, the stars come out..it’s everything you want in an outdoor show.”

Bannerman said the band have released a new album, entitled Sinners and Saints, a “storytellers album” that delves into folks they have met on their travels in places such as New Orleans.

The album was released earlier this year and a vinyl run is expected.

Tickets for Friday’s show are $20 on the museum website.
