The Stratford Festival’s season-long commission of Dante’s Inferno premiers Thursday, as the Meighen Forum revs up with special guests, theme weeks, music and workshops.
On Saturday, as part of Pride Week and the celebrated speaker series, the forum presents The Queer Female Voice: A Conversation with Emma Donoghue, Catherine Hernandez and Ann-Marie MacDonald.
The conversation continues on Sunday with advocates and musicians Tegan and Sara Quin, hosted by hosted by MacDonald and Alisa Palmer.
There are interesting discussions on the schedule, including next Friday (June 20) when novelist, essayist and cultural commentator Stephen Marche presents Re-Imagining Shakespeare.
The forum also offers a ‘deep dive week’ in conversation with Stratford Festival artists and creatives and a CBC ideas week entitled War and Peace, moderated by Ideas host Nahlah Ayed, including discussion on the Good Friday Agreement and Oslo Accords.
The 2025 Meighen Forum also includes Peer into the Playbill and Monday Night Music.
