There are a couple of opening night performances this week at the Stratford Festival.
Forgiveness opens Wednesday at the Tom Patterson Theatre.
Adapted from the book by Mark Sakamoto, it is described as story about two people traumatized but not broken by the Second World War.
Performances continue to Sept. 27.
Sense and Sensibility, based on Jane Austen’s novel, opens on Thursday night at the Festival Theatre. It follows the adventures of the Dashwood sisters and the family’s changing dependency after their father dies.
Performances run until Oct. 25.
