United Way report on volunteers

The United Way Perth-Huron’s Social Research and Planning Council will launch their 2013 report next Thursday in Stratford.

Entitled “The Heart of Community: A Report on Volunteerism in Perth and Huron Counties“ – it will be presented at the Local Community Food Centre on January 23rd from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

This report highlights the strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and community recommendations of volunteerism in both counties.

This public launch will be a part of Volunteers In Perth`s upcoming `VIP Experience` event.

A wine and cheese will take place from 4:00pm to 4:30pm at 612 Erie Street.

Presentations will begin at afterwards and run until 6:00pm.
