Chartwell Retirement Residence is launching The Forever Young Festival on Friday at Market Square in downtown Stratford.
Chartwell General Manager Chylynne Clements said the festival is a free celebration of Stratford’s amazing seniors.
She advises guests to bring their dancing shoes.
“It’s all about honouring and celebrating seniors. So recognizing their incredible contributions to our community and creating opportunities for them to connect have fun and stay active.”
The event, from 1-4 p.m., will include a performance from the George Rose Big Band, starting at 2 p.m.
“It’s a perfect way to spend a summer afternoon surrounding by great music, energy and community spirit.”
There are free refreshments and prizes throughout.
Clements said the festival is a partnership and community effort between the City of Stratford, Stratford Lakeside Active Adults Association and Chartwell Anne Hathaway.
