Stratford and District Chamber of Commerce reflects on 2024

Building something intentional, all encompassing, and impactful.

Those were the words of Stratford & District Chamber of Commerce General Manager Aaron Martin as the local organization hosted it’s 165th Annual General Meeting

Members, board representatives, and community stakeholders gathered this week at the University of Waterloo Stratford School of Interaction Design and Business.

The organization said in its media release that they celebrated a year defined by “momentum, collaboration, and meaningful connection.”

The chamber’s 2024 calendar featured 37 events, and they welcomed 54 new members.

The chamber adds they have renewed advocacy efforts through roundtables, public forums, and regional partnerships.

Under Martin’s leadership, the chamber is pursuing a refreshed strategic direction focused on enhancing member engagement, championing business resilience, and providing timely, community-rooted programming.

Martin added that the chamber’s commitment to its membership and the business community is stronger than ever.
