Stratford Perth Humane Society’s Oasis 50/50 raffle continues to raise big funds for the local organization.
The raffle has hit the $10,000 mark, with half going to the winner.
Cree Toner, Community Program Supervisor, described it as a win-win, for the lucky draw winner, who will also get tickets to see the British band in Toronto on Aug. 24.
“For some people the big draw is the tickets, but as the jackpot continues to grow, the money is definitely really lovely as well. Then of course knowing that you are supporting the humane society.”
Funds will go towards helping pets and people supporting veterinary care, shelter, and adoption programs for animals in need.
You can purchase tickets online. The winner will be announced Aug. 19.
