A two-vehicle collision around the noon hour in West Perth on Monday resulted in four people being taken to a local trauma centre, two of them children.
Perth OPP said both vehicles were damaged beyond repair after colliding at the intersection of Perth Road 164 and Perth Line 20.
Police said the four have non-life-threatening injuries.
A Kitchener male, 20, is charged with failing to yield, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
Police said Perth County sees an increase in traffic during the summer months with travel to and from Lake Huron cottage and beach locations and they remind all motorists to obey the rules of the road, especially in relation to speed and controlled intersections.
