Shelterlink Youth Services has received just under $115,000 in funding through Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Seed grant and Resilient Community Fund streams.
Perth Wellington MPP Matthew Rae made the announcement on Tuesday, noting the organization has been an integral support for youth experiencing homelessness in Perth County for more than a decade.
Funds will help expand programming and update technological infrastructure.
Shelterlink Co-Board Chair Barb Cottle said not only is the organization increasing the number of youths they reach but also deepening the quality and continuity of care offered.
