OPP searching for Quebec person escapee in southwestern Ontario

A man convicted of murder in 1992 has escaped a Quebec prison, and police said he may be in southwestern Ontario.

OPP said Lory Bill Germa, 69, is believed to be in South Bruce or Hanover.

Police describe him as 5’8″ tall with a bald head and brown eyes, weighing about 165 lbs.

Tattoos include a sword, flying skull, seahorses, dragons and others and he has a scar on his left eyebrow.

OPP said if you see him do not approach and call 9-1-1.

The investigation is ongoing and more details will be released when available.
