There is a simplicity to partnerships.
Richard Kneider and Simple Dreams, a local fundraising organization, have a couple of community events coming up and will be there, as always, scooping ice cream and building community spirit.
Bethel Community Church is the venue for a Cruise Night, on July 28.
Kneider praised Robert and Karen St. Pierre for organizing. Hundreds of guests showed up last year to check out more than 125 vintage cars.
“Just reconnect with folks you haven’t seen in a while. So it really is an awesome evening.”
On Aug. 4, there is a free pizza pool party at Lions Pool from 2:30-4 p.m.
No Frills, Domino’s and the City of Stratford are partners.
“It is just a really great time to see families get together, the kids get together.”
The pool holds 220 people, so it’s first come, first served.
