Man faces more than 20 charges after fleeing from police

A Huron East man remains in custody today and faces a laundry list of charges after he failed to stop for the police.

The man was arrested Monday morning just north of Blyth after fleeing and crashing into a car that had pulled over.

After searching his vehicle police say they found drugs and stolen property, including a 12 gauge shotgun.

Police determined that the accused was also responsible for three break and enters and thefts that happened in the last week in Huron County.

The 25-year-old, who’s currently serving a probation sentence, has been hit with 21 separate charges.

He appeared in court in Goderich this morning and has another court appearance set for February 10th.
