Your Tim’s Hortons run may have helped send kids to camp

You may have encountered a bigger lineup than usual at your local Tim Hortons.

Residents stopped in on Wednesday for their favourite beverage and, in the process, could help support Tim Hortons Camp Day.

One hundred per cent of proceeds from every coffee and iced coffee sold across the country went towards sending youth to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.

Employee Savanna, helping out at the Huron Street location in Stratford with her twin sister Sophia, said customers could help a great cause with just a small purchase.

“It’s just a great experience for kids to go to and I think it’s really good that people are donating lots of money.”

Camps equip young people from low-income families with the skills they need to design their future.

Guests could also try their hand at a cornhole game outside the location to win Tim Hortons swag, including mini hockey sticks and coffee mugs.

You can also donate at the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps website.
