Perth East holding public meeting

The Township of Perth East is holding a public meeting to address two proposed zoning by-law amendments.

The first property in question is 312 Huron Road.  The owner has gotten conditional approval to sever a new lot from the property, but needs a by-law amendment to satisfy one of the conditions.

The other property is located at 1980 Perth Line 43.

The owner would like to sever about two hectares that holds the existing crop spraying and seed treating businesses.   The remaining farm parcel would be too small to be zoned “Agricultural”.

The public meeting is scheduled for February 4th in the council chambers at the Township of Perth East Municipal Offices, located at 25 Mill Street East in Milverton.

It starts at 7:00 p.m. that night.
