Thamesford break-in under investigation

The Oxford County OPP is investigating a break-in in Thamesford.

Police say that someone between noon and 6:00 p.m. yesterday the suspect or suspects forced their way into a Stanley Street home.

Various pieces of jewellery and a laptop computer were stolen.

If you have any information about this break-in you’re asked to call the Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

The OPP is also asking everyone to be vigilant in recognizing suspicious vehicles hanging out in your neighbours’ driveways when they aren’t home, or vehicles driving aimlessly up and down roads.

If possible try to get a description of the vehicle, the licence plate number and the direction it’s headed in and report it immediately to the police.
