Central Huron resident faces drug charge after OPP Street Crimes Unit investigation

A Huron-Perth OPP Street Crimes Unit investigation has led to a charge against a 31-year-old Central Huron resident.

A traffic stop was conducted last month in Wilmot Township, leading to the seizure of illegal drugs and related property. One person was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.

Total value of drugs seized is $16,780.

A search warrant was executed the following day at an address in Central Huron.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Huron OPP or Crime Stoppers.
