Two tickets and a nice chunk of change for Oasis VIP 50/50 raffle winner

It’s a win-win for the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth and the lucky winner of their Oasis VIP 50/50 Raffle.

Jackie Strauss will pocket half of the $36,695 raised through ticket sales, while the other half (18,347.50) will go towards the humane society.

Strauss is also the recipient of a fan package that includes two tickets to the band’s Toronto show on Sunday and $500 travel money.

Humane Society CEO Victoria Baby said the raffle was a way to connect music fans with animal lovers and every ticket sold helped provide lifesaving care, shelter, and adoption opportunities for animals in need.

Funds raised support essential programs, such as outreach and veterinary care, sheltering, and adoption services for thousands of pets each year.
