Every toast, shared story and bid at this auction supports local Rotary projects

It brings together tradition, community and generosity.

And, of course, unique Scottish whiskies.

Rotary Club of Stratford is getting set to host Scotch Mist, one of their more popular fundraisers, on Oct. 25 at the Best Western Plus The Arden Park Hotel.

Committee chair Rob Russell said every toast, shared story and bid at the auction supports local projects from hospice care to safe water to respite for families in need.

“It’s a privilege to see the spirit of giving shine so brightly here in Stratford,” he said.

Scotch Mist includes whiskies from Scottish distilleries Glencadam, The Balvenie, Mac-Talla  and Raasay and a special Japanese Nikka Whiskey Taketsuru pure malt.

New this year for the last toast on the Saturday evening is a Highland Nectar Scotch Whisky liqueur.

Guests enjoy a dinner that includes a deconstructed Scotch egg, Haggis a la Stovies, ale-braised beef, along with a curated selection of single malt scotches.

There are also auctions of rare and special scotches throughout the evening.

Limited tickets are still available for sale here.
