Huron-Perth Street Crimes Unit seizes drugs and weapons

Three people have been arrested and drugs and weapons were seized after OPP executed search warrants at a pair of properties in Goderich and another in Seaforth.

Huron-Perth Street Crimes Unit started their investigation in May. Last Thursday, search warrants were executed with the assistance of several OPP detachments and specialty units, resulting in the seizure of cocaine and methamphetamine valued at $13,805.

Offence-related property including a cellular phone, digital scales, packaging material, and imitation firearms were also seized by police along with more than $2,000 in cash.

A 26-year-old Goderich resident is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. Another resident of Goderich, age 32, and a 64-year-old from Huron East are charged with drug possession.
