Blood donor clinic in Stratford on January 28th

Canadian Blood Services is playing catch up.

Extreme weather conditions across much of the country at the end of December and into the New Year forced 24 blood donor clinics to cancel.

Over 1,200 donations were lost.

To make up for lost ground, Canadian Blood Services wants to fill 31,000 appointments by February 1st.

They are urging communities from coast to coast to rally together now because it often takes many donors to help save someone’s life.

There will be a blood donor clinic in Stratford at the end of the month at the Stratford Christian Reformed Church.

It will take place on Tuesday, January 28th from 1:30pm to 7:30pm.

For more information or to book an appointment, call 1-888-2 DONATE (1-888-236-6283) or visit the Canadian Blood Services website.
