184th Fall Fair all set for Stratford Rotary Complex

The 184th Stratford Fall fair, hosted by the Stratford and District Agricultural Society, is set to run for four days at the Stratford Rotary Complex.

President and Fair Chair Laurie Neubrand said this year’s theme is Blooms and Butterflies, where exhibitors decorate cakes, kids work on crafts and judges provide extra points to those who incorporate the theme.

Always popular Campbell Amusements returns with rides, the food fair will feature food trucks, and the Rotary Complex will host exhibits.

This year’s fair includes a tall guy with stilts to entertain kids with balloon animals, the Canadian Conservatory for Raptors, trucks bringing in construction equipment, a seniors euchure tournament, and a livestock show.

Neubrand said organizers meet soon after the Fair to discuss what worked and what could be added for the following year’s fair.

The fair runs Thursday until Sunday.
