Vehicle recovered after Tavistock break and enter but police still looking for suspects

OPP are looking for two men after a break and enter in Tavistock on Sept. 12.

Police were dispatched at 1 a.m. last Friday morning. Keys and a vehicle were stolen from a residence on Westwood Avenue.

The vehicle was recovered abandoned in Brant County.

The investigation continues and police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the suspects.

They are described as white males, 18 years-of-age, both wearing dark-coloured ski masks at the time.

One was wearing a black hoodie, the other a grey hoodie.

There was a white four door sedan observed in the area just prior to the incident.

Anyone with information that could assist with the investigation is asked to contact Oxford OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
