Environment meeting this Saturday in Stratford

As local residents revel in Winterfest Saturday morning, there will be a place you can go to warm up and talk sustainability.

The city’s Energy and Environment committee will be holding a roundtable discussion at the Kiwanis Community Centre.

People are invited to drop by and share their ideas for making Stratford a cleaner, greener place.

Councillor Kerry McManus says you can drop in for a little bit or stay for the whole discussion.

All ideas on how to strengthen local efforts on energy, ecology, food production, waste diversion, intensification, transportation and global issues are welcome.

McManus says change takes time but people are adjusting their habits.

If you can’t make it out on Saturday, people are invited to email their suggestions to Kerry McManus at [email protected]
