A celebration of the completion of several renewal projects at Clinton Public Hospital was held on Friday with community leaders attending to view the results.
Restoration of the 62 Wing roof is among the improvements, which officials say has strengthened the integrity of the facility, improved building performance and safety.
Interior fire door replacements, roof safety railings, and brick restoration, were also completed through the provincial Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance president Andrew Williams said restoring the section of roof ensures that the healthcare alliance can maintain critical infrastructure and improve energy efficiency and patient comfort.
