Did you witness a dog incident in Seaforth over the weekend?

Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is investigating a ‘dog incident’ that happened on Saturday in front of The Candy Store in Seaforth.

HPPH are looking for the black dog involved in the incident, which took place at about 1:15 p.m. It is believed to be a Husky. An individual wearing glasses, with blond hair in a ponytail, was walking the dog on a leash at the time.

The health unit is investigating to check if the rabies vaccination status of the dog is up to date.  HPPH reminds people to always obtain contact information of the owner(s) of the animal involved in an incident.

Anyone who has information about this dog is asked to contact Huron Perth Public Health at 1-888-221-2133 ext. 3670. After hours or over the weekend, you can call the main number and follow prompts to reach the answering service.
