Power back on after outage Tuesday morning in Stratford

There were reports of an unplanned power outage in Stratford Tuesday morning, according to Festival Hydro.

The utility said the power had returned to impacted areas shortly before 9 a.m.

Impacted areas during the power outage included Nelson, Strachan, Railway and Mowat streets.

The cause was unknown.

The traffic lights at the busy Ontario Street/Romeo Street intersection were also out for a time around 9 a.m., impacting the morning commute.
