Ten Bucks Back Program introduces holiday edition

The Ten Bucks Back Program is launching a holiday edition to support Stratford’s downtown economy.

Run by The Downtown Stratford Business Improvement Area (BIA), the program asks residents to keep their shopping/dining receipts spent with downtown merchants.

Fevery $100 spent before tax, you get $10 back in promo dollars.

The new holiday edition runs Oct. 1 to 15, with the BIA giving away $10,000.

General manager of Downtown Stratford BIA Jamie Pritchard said they normally run this program in February-March.

“We thought this year we could inject some dollars into the downtown economy by throwing out $10,000 worth of $10 back for the holiday edition,” said Pritchard.

He said the program already ran this February, where they gave away $10,000, marking the second time they’re doing the program this year.

RBC is accepting receipts on weekdays and Destination Stratford on Saturdays. Receipts will be accepted until Oct. 24 and Promo dollars can be spent until Dec. 31.
