Scotch Mist fundraiser almost sold out

A popular Rotary Club of Stratford fundraiser is close to selling out well ahead of schedule.

Scotch Mist is a 19-plus event focused on raising money for multiple Rotary projects, including Rotary Hospice, Rotary Respite House, and the Aquabox program.

As of Oct. 3, committee chair Rob Russell said out of 250 tickets, 230 have already been sold, leaving only 20 left for the public to buy.

“Scotch Mist in our 17th year, and we’ve raised almost $300,000 through all of the events we had,” said Russell.

He said the event features a five-course meal paired with five, hard to find unique scotches.

The menu includes wine, beer, The Balvenie Double Wood 12, and Glencadam 15 Year Old, a deconstructed Scotch Egg.

The fundraiser runs October 25 at the Best Western Plus the Arden Park Hotel.

Tickets can be found here.
