St. Joseph’s Church now temporarily closed in Stratford

For the next week, masses and church activities won’t be happening in St Joseph’s Church.

According to Avon-Thames Catholic Family of Parishes, the church is temporarily closed because of ongoing construction, with no access to the side entrance or accessible entrance.

St. Joseph’s has undergone a number of major renovations, to the interior and exterior,. The latest major renovation includes the church’s iconic stairs.

The church said in the meantime, all masses and activities will take place at Immaculate Conception Church located at 50 Well St.

They expect the closure to run until Oct. 24.
