Perth OPP have charged a 23-year-old with careless driving causing death

A Gowanstown resident has been charged with careless driving causing death.

The charge stems from a motor vehicle collision on Aug. 12 on Perth Line 88 and Perth Road 140 involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle, which Perth OPP said resulted in the death of the motorcycle driver.

A 23-year-old was charged by Perth OPP on Wednesday and the Highway Traffic Act charge will be addressed at Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on Nov. 25.
