Bluegrass Brunch returns Sunday at the Local Community Food Centre, featuring a brunch with a Dr. Seuss theme and performances from The Blurry Pickers and special guests.
Community Connections Manager Julie Docker-Johnson said the bluegrass part of the event makes it more organic and casual.
“Bluegrass music is warm, if music can be warm, and I think it’s this whole mix of the community coming together,” said Docker-Johnson.
Docker-Johnson said the event is a fundraiser for the centre’s ongoing campaign, with donations welcome at the event.
Brunch runs from 10 am to 1 pm.
