The community is the winner after Battle Of The Badges game

A charity hockey game between local police officers and firefighters raised $2,475 for victims of crime and trauma.

Last Sunday’s Battle Of The Badges took place in Perth East, where Perth County OPP and Mutual Firefighters faced off to raise funds for Victim Services of Huron-Perth.

Victim Services is an organization that provides short-term emotional support, assistance, and community referrals to victims in need of support.

Perth County OPP said they also collected non-perishable food items, which will go to the Milverton Food Bank.
