911 call leads to the arrest of two men

Two men face charges after a call from a quick thinking citizen.

The Huron County OPP says a woman in Bluewater dialed 911 Tuesday morning after hearing an alarm and loud banging noises from inside one of her neighbour’s homes.

Officers responded and began searching for the suspects.

One was arrested at a nearby beach.  The other was picked up by the Lambton County OPP on Corbett Line at Mount Carmel Road after a short chase.

A 29-year-old man from Windsor has been hit with 10 charges and a 49-year-old from London faces seven charges related to the incident.

Both men were held in custody and are scheduled to appear in court in Goderich by video tomorrow.
